"Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months,"Patrick Swayze, the actor who won people's heart with "Dirty Dancing" died Monday, September 14 after battling pancreatic cancer since March 2008 at the age of 57.
A three-time Golden Globe nominee, Swayze became a star with his performance as the misunderstood bad-boy Johnny Castle in "Dirty Dancing." As the son of a choreographer who began his career in musical theater, he seemed a natural to play the role.
Mum introduced Dirty Dancing to me when I was about 7 yrs old and I loved it!! Patrick Swayze is a great dancer and actor!! The way he danced in the film was amazing especially the ending!! XD!! I love it!! And then mum bought One Last Dance where he danced and acted with his wife Lisa Neimi then one in the picture below... The movie was nice! He's got a nice voice as well!! He sang one of the OSTs for Dirty Dancing!!
